Wellness & natural beauty in the party capital of Europe.

From May until October every year, Ibiza, a.k.a. Eivissa or "The White Isle," is most known for its legendary music, party, and club scene. Visitors flock from all over the world to all-night dance clubs like Pacha, Hï, and Amnesia, which have set a global standard with their notorious reputation for blissful raucousness. In most travelers' minds, Ibiza is a place to wear all white, dance the night away, and get into some good trouble.

If your partying days are behind you - or you want to detox once you've had your fill - there is so much more to Ibiza than meets the eye. Part Greek isle, part Amalfi Coast, and all Spanish charm and barefoot luxury, Ibiza is the perfect low-key, beachy cap to any Mediterranean vacation.

When to go: April - early November

Where to stay: Six Senses Ibiza (pictured above)

What to do: Lounge by the pool, take a dip in the sea, enjoy the world-class spa & activities like aerial yoga and candle-making, walk to the small town of Portinatx, hike along the water

Don't miss: Renting a car for the day and exploring the many calas (mini beaches) all over the island. Swimsuit optional, sunscreen required.

Perfect Day:

  • Wake up with the Six Senses' fabulous breakfast, featuring jamon iberico and produce grown onsite

  • Pick up your rental car onsite and head to Cala de Sant Vicent for yacht-watching and a morning swim

  • Drive to Ibiza town. Have lunch in town and walk the walls of the historic Castell d'Eivissa, dating from the 7th century BCE

  • Head back to the hotel for a massage and a happy hour cocktail on your balcony while the sun sets

  • End the night with dinner at La Paloma, where you feel like family and the only menu is handwritten on a giant table-side board
